Glander International Bunkering hires ex-OW staff, moves to new Rio office

Team is to be headed by former OW Bunker managing director Flavio Ribeiro.

Glander International Bunkering has announced the expansion of its team in Brazil and a new office location.

The new office is located in the neighbourhood of Leblon in Rio de Janeiro and, according to the company, "is at a capacity that allows for continued growth".

Glander International Bunkering's team in Brazil has increased from 3 to 11 with the addition of former OW Bunker employees. The operation is to be headed by Flavio Ribeiro [pictured], who was previously employed as managing director of O.W Bunker & Trading do Brasil between 2011 and 2014, and has worked in the industry for 14 years, in Brazil and abroad.

Glander International Bunkering's strategy is to maintain its role as a leading bunker and lubricant trading company worldwide. Hence, it is a natural progression that we have increased our number of employees in Brazil and acquired a larger office space. We have a strong reputation globally and I know that our new talented colleagues will continue our legacy."

"The new Brazil team has a long-standing history of industry success and a desire to excel. Glander International Bunkering is proud to present a team of self-motivated individuals," the company added.
