Dan-Bunkering trader moves to Singapore, earns promotion


Kasper B�kkegaard Christiansen is promoted to the role of Bunker Trader and Team Leader.



Dan-Bunkering (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. has announced that, effective from November 1, 2014, Kasper Baekkegaard Christiansen [pictured] has moved from Dan-Bunkering's head office in Denmark to the company's office in Singapore and been promoted to the role of Bunker Trader and Team Leader.

Baekkegaard Christiansen started his career as a bunker trader at Dan-Bunkering's office in Middelfart, Denmark, in 2010 and, according to his employer, "has a proven track record trading with clients worldwide and in particular in the Asian region".

"Based on Kasper's many connections in the region, it is a natural step in his career to join the busy office in Singapore. In addition to his duties in the Trading Department, Kasper will be utilising his experiences and vast knowledge of the business to assist with the training of junior staff in the office," said Mads Holm, Sales Manager at Dan-Bunkering (Singapore) Pte. Ltd., who the company said was "looking forward to a long and mutually beneficial working relationship with Kasper".
