Dan-Bunkering hires trader in Dubai


Former OW Bunker trader joins another Danish firm with an office in the United Arab Emirates.



Dan-Bunkering (Middle East) DMCC has announced that Sahar Zarghamian [pictured] has joined the company's office in Dubai, where she will be working as a bunker trader.

In an emailed statement, Dan-Bunkering said: "Sahar, who was born in Iran has been living in different countries over the years. She brings a wealth of experience from her previous years in the bunker industry and speaks several languages."

Prior to joining Dan-Bunkering, Zarghamian was employed as a bunker trader at Windsor-based O.W. Bunkers (UK) Ltd (August 2013 to December 2013) and Dubai firm O.W. Bunker Middle East DMCC (January 2012 to August 2013 and 2009 to 2011.). She also worked as an oil broker for Daman Quattro - a futures and options execution brokerage located in Dubai - between June and November 2011.

"It gives us great satisfaction that we are able to attract traders with such experience and I feel certain that Sahar will contribute positively to the growth of our office," stated managing director Kasper Fulton Stiedl.
