Michael Matern Hedager rejoins Dan-Bunkering as Head of Trading in Dubai


Experienced trader is described as "the perfect match" to head Dan-Bunkering's trading department in Dubai.



Dan-Bunkering (Middle East) DMCC has announced that Michael Matern Hedager [pictured] has rejoined the Dan-Bunkering Group as Head of Trading in Dubai.

In a statement, Dan-Bunkering said: "Michael brings more than 10 years of bunker experience from both trading and physical supply from his previous positions in Denmark, Singapore and latest Dubai."

Matern Hedager initially joined Dan-Bunkering in 2004. He relocated to the company's Singapore office for two years in 2009 and was promoted to the role of Senior Bunker Trader in Copenhagen in June 2013.

At the end of last year, Matern Hedager was appointed Sales Manager – Senior Fuel Supplier at Dubai-based physical bunker supplier Oleum DWC-LLC, which was launched in December 2013.

Commenting on the reappointment of Matern Hedager, managing director Kasper Fulton Stiedl said: "We are an expanding office. Michael was the perfect match to head our trading department when the opportunity arose."

With the addition of Matern Hedager, Dan-Bunkering's Dubai office now comprises a team of 12 traders and administrative staff.
