The G7 summit ended yesterday. This was the first time in years where Russia did not participate; due to the recent events in Ukraine.

Expectations of economic recovery in Europe rose on Thursday as the European Central Bank (ECB) announced a number of easing measures to spark growth in the area and avoid deflation.

Today's most important economic key number will be this afternoon's U.S. employment status with the Nonfarm Payroll and Unemployment Rate data (coming up at 14.30 CET).
