International Bunkering promotes staff member


Jesper Porsmose is promoted to the role of Senior Bunker and Lubricant Trader.



International Bunkering Middle East DMCC has announced the promotion of Jesper Porsmose [pictured] to the role of Senior Bunker & Lubricant Trader, effective from May 1, 2013.

Commenting on the news, Carsten Ladekjaer, Managing Director and CEO of the International Bunkering Group, said: "Jesper Porsmose has demonstrated his dedication to hard work and, combined with his talent and the in-house training he has received, he has contributed well to our results. It is therefore my great pleasure to announce his promotion to Senior Bunker & Lubricant Trader."

Porsmose joined International Bunkering in September 2010. Prior to this, he worked for O.W. Bunker & Trading A/S in Aalborg, Denmark and O.W. Bunker Middle East, Dubai between August 2007 and June 2010. The Dubai offices of both O.W. Bunker and International Bunkering are located at Jumeirah Lakes Towers - a development which consists of 79 towers constructed along the edges of four artificial lakes.

Before joining the bunker industry, Porsmose was employed as Rederi Assistant for DFDS Transport between 2003 and 2006.
