International Bunkering expands Dubai team


Ex-KPI Bridge Oil trader joins International Bunkering's head office in Dubai.



International Bunkering Middle East DMCC has announced the appointment of Andreas Johansen [pictured] as bunker and lubricants trader at its office in Dubai.

Commenting on the news, International Bunkering said: "Andreas is from Norway and has a background within the bunker and shipping industry in general. So once again we are quite pleased to add more nationalities to our multicultural teams."

Johansen previously worked for KPI Bridge Oil in London as a bunker trader between September 2009 and July 2010. Since then he has worked in the distribution of Apple accessories in Norway and, more recently, for Wagle Chartering AS as an assistant broker and for Geodis Wilson as a shipping supervisor. He has a BSc (Hons) in Maritime Business from Southampton Solent University.
