The average price of marine gas oil (MGO) at the port of Singapore decreased at a slower rate than ICE Gas Oil in the month of March, according to Bunker Index price data.

The ICE Gas Oil settlement average fell by $82.21 per tonne, or 8.25 percent, to $913.69 per tonne in the month of March. During the same period, the Singapore MGO average decreased by $62.00 per tonne, or 6.36 percent, to $912 per tonne.

Between March 2012 and March 2013, the monthly MGO average in Singapore declined by $96 per tonne, or 9.5 percent, whilst the ICE Gas Oil settlement average decreased by $110.53 per tonne, or 10.8 percent.
