KPI Bridge Oil appoints Mauro Agostini


Experienced trader joins KPI Bridge Oil's office in Florida.



KPI Bridge Oil has appointed Mauro Agostini [pictured] as bunker broker and trader at its Florida office.

Mauro, aged 40, has worked in the bunker industry since 2006. Prior to joining KPI Bridge Oil, he was senior trader at Peninsula Petroleum between August 2006 and May 2012.

Mauro worked as derivatives trader for Dutch securities trading and brokerage company Van der Moolen Holding N.V. between 2005 and 2006, and as derivatives trader for Goldenberg, Hehmeyer & Co. (GHCO) (renamed Penson Futures) from June 2000 to April 2005.

Mauro has a degree in Economics from Ca' Foscari University of Venice and is fluent in Italian, Spanish and English.

Commenting on the appointment, Jesper Rasmussen, Commercial Director, KPI Bridge Oil North America, said: "It is an important part of KPI Bridge Oil's overall strategy to expand our teams in Miami and in our other offices in the Americas and I am extremely pleased that Mauro Agostini has now joined the Miami office."
