Dan-Bunkering promotes trader to sales manager

Copenhagen-based trader to form part of new team in Houston.

A/S Dan-Bunkering Ltd. has announced that it has appointed Copenhagen-based bunker trader Jim Jensen [pictured] as sales manager.

The Danish firm has premises in Denmark, China, Russia, Singapore and Monaco, and will shortly open its latest office in Houston, Texas.

As part of his promotion, Jensen will form part of the new operation in Houston and will start up the office together with managing director Hans Lind Dollerup.

Jensen started as a bunker trader with Dan-Bunkering in Copenhagen in 2008. Prior to this he was employed by oil major Chevron in Denmark.

“We believe that having Hans and Jim starting up the office from the very beginning, we will be able to create a very successful team in Houston. Furthermore, we expect to recruit more traders in the near future”, said CEO Henrik Zederkof.
