Dan-Bunkering to expand in the Americas

Danish bunker firm to launch an office in Houston towards the middle of this year.

A/S Dan-Bunkering Ltd. - part of A/S United Shipping & Trading Company (USTC) group - has announced that it is expanding its activities to include the Americas.

The Danish owned company already has offices in Denmark, China, Russia, Singapore and Monaco, but is now looking to open an office in Houston, Texas, in order to provide an even greater service to customers in the Americas.

Hans Lind Dollerup, who has been with Dan-Bunkering for 10 years, has been appointed Managing Director of the office in Houston, which is expected to open towards the midle of this year.

"Hans started with Dan-Bunkering in Middelfart, Denmark, back in 2002, thus he is in possession of thorough knowledge of the bunker industry as well as recent experience with starting up a new office as he has been stationed in Dan-Bunkering’s Monaco office since its opening last year," Dan Bunkering said.

“We are certain that we will have an advantage to create a strong and successful team in Houston with Hans at the helm, and we expect several recruitments to take place in the near future in order to have a mix of both local and international traders in our latest addition to the Dan-Bunkering group”, commented CEO/Executive Vice President Henrik Zederkof.
