Dan-Bunkering appoints Indian trader


Experienced trader recruited as Danish firm focuses on strengthening its position in South Asia and the Middle East.

Denmark's Dan-Bunkering has appointed Pooja Sangani as bunker trader as of today, 23rd September 2011.

Sangani, aged 24, has experience within the Middle Eastern and South Asian markets from her previous job with physical supplier Zad Fuel in Dubai, where she worked for 3 years and 8 months.

Speaking to Bunker Index, Sangani said that she would intially be working from Dan-Bunkering's office in Singapore, before moving to Mumbai in 2012 for the launch of the company's first office in India.

Commenting on the appointment, Søren Høll, International Sales Manager, said: "Pooja has been involved in various fields of the bunker business, and with her Indian background we expect her to be a great asset in our focus on strengthening our position on the Middle Eastern and South Asian markets."
