OW appoints bunker trader in Dubai

OW Bunker expands its Dubai team with the appointment of a new bunker trader.

OW Bunker, one of the world’s leading suppliers and traders of marine fuel, today announced the appointment of Christopher Tuason as a new bunker trader at its Dubai office.

Commenting on the news, OW Bunker said: "The appointment reflects the continued growth the company has realised in the Middle East over the past 12 months.

"Tuason has worked within the industry for a number of years, and will be able to provide customers with a wide range of experience as well as real knowledge of the local market place."

OW Bunker has experienced rapid growth within its Middle East operation since it was established in Dubai in 2007. The company now has ten people within its team, and recently moved to much larger premises due to its expansion and forecast for continued growth and development.

Jesper Jervild, Regional Manager for OW Bunker Middle East and South Africa commented: “Christopher’s appointment is testament to the rapid growth that we are experiencing in the Middle East. Customers are clearly responding to our global offering and our capabilities in providing not just quality products and services, but the ability to provide a fast turnaround on quotes at competitive prices, as well as added value services such as risk management.
