Global Risk Management appoints MD


Newly-appointed managing director has over 20 years of experience in the finance sector.



A/S Global Risk Management Ltd. has announced the appointment of Hans Erik Christensen as Managing Director at the company's head office in Middelfart, Denmark.

Christensen, 42, has an extensive financial background with more than 20 years of experience as a dealer, financial adviser, treasurer and managing director - in Denmark and abroad.

He joins Global Risk after having spent two years as head of technical and commercial management at Global Wind Power.

He has also worked as Managing Director, securities and cash management at Ringkjøbing Bank and Dealer, Managing Director & Financial Adviser at Midtbank.

Christensen will head the three Global Risk offices and work on the company's strategy and business plans as well as day-to-day management tasks.

He forms part of a three-man management team which consists of Executive Sales Director Jan Knudsen and Financial Manager Torben Kampp Madsen.

"Hans Erik brings a perfect combination of proven management skills and extensive knowledge about the financial markets to the company. He is a valuable addition to an already strong team of employees," the company said in a statement.

Commenting on his appointment, Christensen said “I am pleased to join Global Risk Management.
