Expansion at Global Risk Management


Newly-appointed Oil Risk Manager to focus on selling risk management solutions to the Middle East market.



A/S Global Risk Management has announced that Caner Seren Varol has been employed as Oil Risk Manager at the company's office in Middelfart, Denmark.

“We are increasing our focus on the Middle East area and the employment of Seren is enhancing this strategy”, said Jan Knudsen, Executive Sales Director at Global Risk Management.

“Being a Turkish citizen, Seren has great knowledge about the culture in the Middle East region and we expect him to add much value to the team”, added Knudsen.

Seren will be responsible for advising and selling customised fuel risk management solutions, including Fixed Price Agreements, to customers exposed to the oil market mainly in the Middle East region.

Seren is 26 years old and has just completed his Masters of Business Administration from Koc University / The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
