Island Oil appoints bunker trader in Singapore


Company says addition of Chee Yong Ryan Tan forms part of its 'steady growth plans'.

Island Oil (Holdings) Ltd has announced the appointment of Chee Yong (Ryan) Tan as bunker trader at its office in Singapore.

Tan has more than eight years' experience in the marine fuel industry, having begun his career as a bunker trader.

He has a bachelor's degree in business from the University of London via the Singapore Institute of Management and a diploma in electronic, computer and communication engineering from Singapore Polytechnic.

In a statement, Tan's new employer said his addition was "within the scope of Island Oil['s] steady growth plans".
