Dan-Bunkering hires multilingual trader in Monaco


Newly appointed Nuno Manaia speaks five languages.

Dan-Bunkering (Monaco) S.A.M. has announced the addition of bunker trader Nuno Manaia to its team in Monaco.

Manaia holds both a master's and bachelor's degree in international relations and a postgraduate diploma in foresight, strategy, and innovation from the University of Monaco.

He has a diverse professional background, having worked as a project coordinator for the US Embassy in Lisbon and as an officer cadet for Portugal's military academy.

Dan-Bunkering's latest appointee was born and raised in Belgium and speaks five languages: French, Portuguese, English, Spanish and Italian. Having grown up in a multicultural family (Portuguese and Venezuelan), Manaia says it has "taught me to embrace diversity and made me become a vibrant, persistent and innovative individual".

"I therefore consider myself enthusiastic about the constantly changing environment and fast-paced lifestyle of bunker trading," he adds.
