Glander International Bunkering hires trader for West African market


Nicolai Mortensen joins trading team in Dubai.



Glander International Bunkering (GIB) has appointed Nicolai Rosendahl Mortensen as bunker and lubricant trader at its office in Dubai.

Mortensen was born and raised in Esbjerg, Denmark, and has more than three years' experience in the bunker industry having previously served as a bunker trader for Endofa.

"He is well established within the industry and possesses a global understanding of the market," GIB said.

Commenting on his role at the company, GIB noted: "He is primarily dedicated to the West African market; however, his persistent trading skills have allowed him access to regions worldwide."

Morten Langthjem, sales manager at Glander International Bunkering Dubai, remarked: "It is with great enthusiasm that we announce the hire of Nicolai Mortensen. His market knowledge of West Africa makes him a valuable addition to the Dubai trading team and we look forward to enhancing our client offering in that region."
