Glander International Bunkering relocates to Mumbai's Bandra Kurla Complex

Company says its Mumbai location 'boasts tremendous potential for economic growth'.

Glander International Bunkering (India) Private Limited has moved to a brand new office in Mumbai's booming business district, Bandra Kurla Complex.

Bandra Kurla Complex - popularly referred to as BKC, houses a number of commercial buildings and hosts over 6000 offices. The complex is located in the Bandra (East) suburb of Mumbai and is within proximity to international and domestic airports.

Glander International Bunkering says its Mumbai operation is located in an area which "boasts tremendous potential for economic growth"; it is home to the regional head offices of oil majors and several prominent shipping companies, the company points out.

Commenting on the office relocation, Christoffer Berg Lassen, managing director and CEO of Glander International Bunkering, said: "This move is the latest in an ongoing growth strategy surging through the Glander International Bunkering group and is in line with meeting the ever changing market conditions. By positioning ourselves so centrally within the commercial capital of India, we are welcoming new lucrative opportunities and making ourselves even more accessible to our valued clients."

Ajay Menon, managing director of Mumbai operations, remarked: "Mumbai is a key market within the maritime industry and so having an even stronger physical presence is important for the group's continual growth. Furthermore, the rules concerning shipping are changing and as such Mumbai is expecting an increase in tonnage. Our new central location perfectly equips the Mumbai office to manage additional tonnage."

Glander International Bunkering currently operates globally from seven office locations: Dubai, Mumbai, Singapore, Florida, Brazil, Norway and Geneva.
