New Financial Manager at Global Risk Management


Pia Graekjaer joins the company's head office in Middelfart, Denmark.



Global Risk Management - a provider of customised hedging solutions for the management of price risk on fuel expenses - has announced that Pia Graekjaer has been employed as Financial Manager at its head office in Middelfart, Denmark.

"Pia will be responsilbe for monthly and end of year financial statements for the offices in Denmark and Singapore together with our CFO. Furthermore, Pia will work with tasks within compliance, reporting to corporate and public authorities and enhancement/implementation of business procedures together with the existing back and middle office team in Denmark and Singapore," the company said in a statement.

CFO Niels Hyldegaard Kristensen commented: "We have employed Pia as Financial Manager in order to strengthen our back and middle office operation. The employment is part of our strategy to bolster ourselves to coming increased requirements to financial compliance and a wish to development of our business in general."

Graekjaer has a master's degree in economics and has recently completed a Graduate Certificate in Business Administration (Accounting and Financial Control).

Commenting on her career background, Global Risk Management said: "Pia comes from a position as accounts and administrative manager in the energy business. Furthermore, Pia has worked in a large Danish bank."
