Trader promotion at KPI Bridge Oil


Mohammed Yasser Marzuq is promoted to the role of bunker and lubricant trader in New Jersey.



KPI Bridge Oil, a leading broker and trader of marine fuel, lubricants and risk management products, has promoted Mohammed Yasser Marzuq [pictured] from trainee to bunker and lubricant trader at its office in Red Bank, New Jersey.

Yasser, who has recently graduated from KPI Bridge Oil's in-house training and development programme, spoke of his promotion in a statement, saying: "Working alongside the more senior traders at KPI Bridge Oil, I have learned a lot about how we take care of clients in this ever-changing market.

"It's great to be on board as a trader, I've had some great mentoring and feel excited about progressing within the group."

KPI Bridge Oil said: "Having previously worked at one of the shipping industry's largest energy and tanker brokering companies Mohammed has shown excellent commercial aptitude and the ability to observe the market from a ship owner/operator's perspective."

Yasser is fluent in Arabic and studied at the Massachusetts Maritime Academy, graduating with a bachelor's degree in maritime business.

Brian Coyne, managing director of KPI Bridge Oil New York, remarked: "Mohammed has shown real enthusiasm and drive throughout his training and we see great potential for further developing his skills. He has built a customer base very quickly and we believe he will continue to do so.
