Dan-Bunkering appoints sales manager in Houston

Experienced bunker professional was previously employed as sales manager at O.W. Bunker USA Inc.

Dan-Bunkering (America) has announced that Michael Brunø-Sørensen [pictured] has been hired as sales manager with immediate effect. He will be based at the company's office in Houston.

Brunø-Sørensen was previously employed in a similar role as sales manager at O.W. Bunker USA Inc. between June 2012 and November 2014, and worked for the now-defunct bunker company in a number of roles after joining in October 1998.

Hans Lind Dollerup, managing director of Dan-Bunkering (America), said Brunø-Sørensen would be "a welcome addition to the rapidly expanding office and region in the Dan-Bunkering group".

In his online company profile, Brunø-Sørensen says: "I have spent close to two decades within the bunker industry - and I have loved every second of it. Being in an industry which both directly and indirectly influences our lives is for me a vital part of the thrill and excitement of coming to work every day. I enjoy being able to communicate globally across borders with clients and colleagues in a vibrant business environment. The cliché "not two days are alike" is often used, but I do believe this is how the bunker industry really is. When not being in the office I enjoy being a dedicated husband to my wife Lone and a devoted father to my two young daughters Frida and Filuka. Any spare time left is spent with friends and families, although I would never turn down a good game of golf."
