GAC Bunker Fuels expands Singapore team


The appointment of Rafe Liam brings the GAC Bunker Fuels global team to 34 in total.

GAC Bunker Fuels has expanded its bunker trading team in Singapore with the appointment of Rafe Liam [pictured].

He joins Steve Chen and Casey Han at the world's biggest bunker port, and brings the GAC Bunker Fuels global team to 34 in total.

Prior to joining GAC, Liam was General Manager (Marine Fuel) at Gemoil Singapore Pte Ltd.

In a statement, GAC said: "Liam brings to his new role more than 10 years of experience in the bunker industry and an extensive portfolio of contacts throughout the Asia Pacific area. His prime focus is on gaining new oil and gas customers and expanding the supplier network."

The latest addition to the GAC Bunker Fuels network follows the recent renewal of the company's ISO 9001 audit and the appointment of two bunker traders based in Dubai.

GAC Bunker Fuels' Director Nicholas Browne remarked: "2014 was a very fruitful year for us. We are building on that growth with the addition of new traders covering strategic locations to make 2015 another positive year for GAC Bunker Fuels."
