Monthly Fujairah 380 cSt average down 21.8% in two months


The 380 cSt average at the Middle East's leading bunker port has fallen $128 since September



The average price of 380 centistoke (cSt) fuel oil in Fujairah plummeted $47 per tonne, or 9.3 percent, during the month of November, according to Bunker Index price data.

The 380 cSt average at the Middle East's leading bunker port fell to $460 per tonne, down from $507 per tonne in October, during a month that saw Fujairah's best-selling fuel grade record a $67 low-to-high price range of $417 to $484 per tonne.

The November price is the lowest since September 2010 ($443 per tonne). It is also the fifth monthly decline in a row and the price drop over the last two months alone has been $128, or 21.8 percent.
