Trader leaves Asian bunker firm


Asian trader's next appointment will not be in the bunker industry, says general manager.



Hong Kong-based Sea Trader International Ltd. has today confirmed that sales and marketing executive Ed Lau is no longer working for the company.

Speaking to Bunker Index, a member of the firm said that Lau had resigned from his position, whilst general manager, Joey Szeto, added that Lau did not plan to continue working in the bunker industry and that his next employment would not be in bunkering.

Lau finished working for Sea Trader International towards the end of May.

Sea Trader International is a privately owned business that acts as the exclusive sales and supply agent for Russian bunker supplier Pavino Shipping Co Ltd.

Established in 1996, Pavino is a leading supplier of bunker fuel in the Russian Far East ports of Vladivostok, Nakhodka, Vostochny, Slavyanka, Zarubino, Posyet and Kozmino. The company has storage facilties in Vladivostok, Nakhodka and Slavyanka.
