Singapore monthly 380-cst average dips in September

380-cst price decreases by $1 per tonne at the world's leading bunker port in September.

The average monthly price of 380-centistoke (cst) fuel oil in Singapore fell for the sixth time in seven months during the month of September, according to Bunker Index price data.

The 380-cst average at the world's leading bunker port dipped by $1 per tonne, or 0.17 percent, to $599 per tonne this month, down from $600 per tonne in August.

The $1-per-tonne decrease is the least significant in dollar terms since the Singapore 380-cst average declined by $1 to $644 per tonne two years ago, in September 2011. It is also the third time this year that the monthly price has been below the $600-per-tonne mark.

Please find a table below outlining average monthly Singapore 380-cst prices between April 2008 and September 2013.
