Shore power meetings in California


Meetings to be held to discuss the implementation of air quality regulations regarding ocean-going vessels at berth.



The California Air Resources Board (ARB) has scheduled two public meetings to discuss the implementation of air quality regulations regarding ocean-going vessels at berth.

At the public meetings, staff will be available to discuss upcoming requirements of the At-Berth Regulation that become effective between July 1, 2013 and December 31, 2014.

Compliance calculations will be fully discussed including a presentation on an ARB-developed optional Shore Power Compliance Tool, which uses Excel and Access programs.

The meetings, which are open to the public, will be held on the following times at the following locations:
