Baltic Oil appoints Finance Director


Adrian Simpson joins Baltic Oil Terminal's board of directors.



Baltic Oil Terminals Plc has announced that Adrian Simpson, presently CFO, has joined Simon Escott, Richard Healey and Louis Castro on the board as Finance Director, with effect from 11 April 2012.

Simpson, aged 52, is a Fellow of The Institute of Chartered Accountants and has extensive experience in accountancy and financial management having trained with Spicer and Pegler and worked with Coopers and Lybrand and subsequently with Deloitte. He was a partner with Mazars for 15 years where he managed a portfolio of clients in several different industries.

Richard Healey, Chairman, commented: "My fellow directors and I are delighted that Adrian has agreed to join the board. He has already made a strong contribution to the company and his considerable experience in management as well as accountancy will be invaluable as we seek to deliver our growth strategy."

Simpson is currently a director of Berkeley Wood Management Company Limited and of Simpson & Associates (Accountants Limited). He was previously a designated member of Adrian Simpson & Associates LLP.
