Chemoil appoints non-executive director


New Energy Department Manager joins Chemoil's board of directors.



Chemoil Energy Ltd. has announced the appointment of non-executive director Takashi Yasuda.

In documents released to the Singapore Exchange, Chemoil said that Masanobu Takagi, aged 54, had resigned as a member of the board of directors on March 31st 2011, whilst Takashi Yasuda had been appointed non-executive director on the same date.

Yasuda, aged 48, has been employed as Department Manager, New Energy Department at Itochu Corporation since 2009. Between 2000 and 2009 he held the following positions:

Manager of Petrochemical Feedstock Section, Energy Trade Division, Itochu Corporation (2000)

Manager of the Products Trade Section, Energy Trade Division, Itochu Corporation (2003)

COO & Director, Itochu Petroleum Co., (USA) Pte. LTD. (2004)

Director, Itochu Petroleum Co., (Singapore) Pte. LTD. (2005)

Planning & Coordinating Department for Metal and Energy, Itochu Corporation (2007)

Deputy General Manager, Planning & Coordinating Department for Metals and Energy, Itochu Corporation (2008)

Yasuda also currently holds directorships at Kalahari-Minerals plc and JB Bioenergy Inc.
