Petrobras tanker supplying off São Luís


Vessel begins carrying out deliveries of intermediate fuel oil and marine gasoil in Maranhão.



Brazilian bunker supplier Petroleo Brasileiro (Petrobras) S.A. has announced that a new tanker named Sea Emperor has commenced operating off São Luís, located in the northern state of Maranhão.

The vessel, which has a total capacity of 12,500 tonnes, is able to load 11,000 tonnes of intermediate fuel oil (IFO) and 1,500 tonnes of marine gasoil (MGO).

Petrobras said that the Sea Emperor will load product in Itaqui and that deliveries will be carried out in the following anchorage areas of São Luís and Itaqui:
