World Fuel Services opens office in India


Leading fuels specialist launches bunker trading operation in Mumbai.



Leading marine, aviation and land fuel specialist, World Fuel Services Corporation has announced the launch of a new office in Mumbai, India.

The bunker trading office will be headed by Commercial Manager JP Shahi, who was previously employed as senior bunker trader and sales manager at Chemoil-Adani Pvt. Ltd.

Shahi vacated his position at Ahmedabad-based Chemoil in September 2010 with Deepak Dharwal taking over as manager of the company's bunker sales department.

Speaking to Bunker Index today, Shahi said that the company was also planning to recruit new members of staff in the near future.
