Vopak Horizon Fujairah wins award


Award recognizes firm for contributing to the economic development of the UAE.



Vopak Horizon Fujairah has won the prestigious Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Business Award for the Best Business Performance in the Supply Chain and Logistics category.

Under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, Shaikh Maktoum Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, honoured the winners of the fifth edition of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum (MRM) Business Award.

The MRM Business Award was introduced to recognize the success of the firms that have contributed and continue to contribute to the economic development of the United Arab Emirates.

The criteria for assessing the application for the MRM Business Award specifically focus on the factors that lead to outstanding business performance.

The evaluation was related to the performance in eight main key areas: Leadership, Strategy, Customer, Workforce and Talent management, Operations and Processes, Innovation, Governance and Corporate social responsibility.

To be a winner, an organization must have a sustainable performance system that ensures progressive performance based on the economic, technological and competitive environment, the organization’s resources, capabilities, profile, size and objectives.
