Lubmarine to hold press conference at SMM

Supplier to discuss its ECA-ready marine lubricant and developments made in the bio-lubes sector.

Total Lubmarine has announced that it will be holding a press conference at the Shipbuilding, Machinery & Marine Technology International Trade Fair (SMM Exhibition), due to be held in Hamburg on September 7-10 2010.

During the press conference Lubmarine says it will explain the major environmental and cost savings achieved by its Talusia Universal cylinder oil, which is said to be the only lubricant product in the marketplace that is able to operate successfully in engines running on heavy fuel oils with sulphur levels below 1 percent and above 4 percent , thus eliminating the need to switch lubricants when moving in and out of the EU Emission Control Area (ECA)

Lubmarine said it will also outline the 'significant' developments it has made in the bio-lubes sector as more and more shipping companies are forced to consider improving their environmental footprint.

Furthermore, the company will reveal the results of an independent survey into its worldwide logistics services.

Following the press conference, attendees will have the opportunity to meet the speakers and to ask any questions relating to the presentation or to Lubmarine in general.
