Supplier expands operations in Malta

Marine gasoil specialist adds bunker barge to begin supplying intermediate fuel oil.

Physical bunker supplier Cassar Fuels Ltd. has announced that it is expanding its supply operations with the addition of a new barge in order to supply intermediate fuel oil to customers in Malta.

The Qormi-based firm said that it will be offering both 380-centistoke (cst) and 180-cst grades in addition to marine gasoil (MGO), which the company has been supplying to clients for several years.

Speaking to Bunker Index, bunker trader Sarah Cassar said the company now has two barges to carry out deliveries to customers in all major ports in Malta, one for intermediate fuel oil and the other for distillates.

Cassar Fuels is also able to supply MGO to clients by road tank wagon (RTW).
