IBME expands bunker trading team

Two new members of staff join Dubai-based bunker trading company.

International Bunkering Middle East DMCC (IBME) has announced the appointment two new members of staff - Ms. Julia Alexandria Jones [pictured] and Mr. Jalal Ibrahim Aghil - to join the company's trading team in Dubai.

Commenting on the appointments, IBME said "Backed by support from an increasing number of ship owners, charterers, operators and managers we have found a growing demand for us to expand our services even further.

"As a result we have searched and now found two qualified staff members which we trust are bringing not only a diversified cultural understanding but also linguistic advantages into our company. Julia will be able to help our Russian and English speaking business partners and Jalal speaks English, Arabic and Spanish."

Established in February 2006, IBME is a trader of marine fuels and lubricants worldwide.

The company expanded its trading team in August 2008 with the appointment of Felix Teo Yu Chuan as bunker trader. This was followed in March 2009 with the appointment of David Varghese as Financial Manager.
