Brightoil to hold board meeting to approve H2 results


Board meeting to be held on 24th February.

Hong Kong-listed Brightoil Petroleum (Holdings) Ltd announced on Tuesday that it will be holding a board meeting on 24th February.

Brightoil said that the purpose of the board meeting, among other matters, was to approve the announcement of the unaudited interim results of the company for the second half of 2016, and to consider the payment of an interim dividend, if applicable.

On Monday, Brightoil announced that it expects to post a rise in earnings for the last half of 2016 following a preliminary review of its unaudited accounts. The company's bunker division is said to have recorded an increase in sales volume and margins during the six-month period.

The board meeting is to be held at Brightoil's Hong Kong office at 33F, 118 Connaught Road West.
