Singapore records highest weekly 380 cSt in 17 months


Weekly average and end-of-week 380 cSt at highest level since the week ending 3rd July 2015.



The daily average for 380 centistoke (cSt) intermediate fuel oil (IFO) in Singapore recorded its highest end-of-week price of the year on Friday.

Singapore 380 cSt ended week 49 at $323.50 per tonne, up $15.00, or 4.9 percent, on the figure recorded seven days earlier.

Friday's price was the highest end-of-week figure since 3rd July 2015 ($330.5 per tonne). It is the fourth week-on-week rise in a row.

Meanwhile, the weekly Singapore 380 cSt average increased by $26.00, or 8.8 percent, to $321.30 per tonne, up from $295.30 per tonne the previous week. The $321.30-per-tonne average is the highest since the week ending 3rd July 2015 ($335.50 per tonne).
