Cockett announces commercial hires


Appointments made in Australia, India, Singapore and UAE.

Dubai-headquartered Cockett Group has announced the strengthening of its commercial team with appointments in Australia, India, Singapore and UAE.

The four people hired are:

Commenting on the appointments, Cem Saral, Group Chief Executive Officer for Cockett Group, said: "As the group's geographical coverage continues to grow, products and services offered expand, we continue to further optimize our commercial teams with strategically selected experts and professionals joining our group offices globally."

Cockett Group is one of the world's leading sellers of marine fuel. The business is owned by Vitol Group (50%) and Grindrod Ltd (50%).

Headquartered at the Jumeirah Bay X3 building [pictured] in Dubai, UAE, Cockett currently has 16 offices around the world. Its annual trading volume is more than 7 million metric tonnes, according to Cockett.
