Singapore 380 cSt monthly average almost unchanged; $42 last-day differential


Singapore's best-selling bunker product ended last month $42.00 higher than the last trading day of July.



The 380 cSt average at the world's leading bunker port, Singapore, dipped just $1 in August, but the daily assessment price ended the month $42 higher than the last trading day of July.

August ended with an assessment price of $258.00 per tonne, up $42.00, or 19.4 percent, on the $216.00-per-tonne figure recorded on Friday July 29th.

The monthly Singapore 380 cSt average fell $1 to $240 per tonne, down from $241 per tonne in July. It is the second-highest average monthly price in 12 months - since August 2015.

August saw Singapore's best-selling fuel grade record a $58 low-to-high differential, with a price range of $208 to $264 per tonne. The lowest price of $208 per tonne was seen on August 3rd, whilst the month's highest price of $264 per tonne was quoted on August 18th, 26th and 30th.
