KPI Bridge Oil opens office in Seattle

Bunker group expands its operations with first office on the US West Coast.

Bunker company KPI Bridge Oil Ltd. has announced that it is expanding its operations in the Americas with the launch of a new office in Seattle on September 15th.

This is the third office in the Americas and the company’s first establishment on the US West Coast. Tamara Anderson, an industry veteran, who has almost 20 years experience in the bunker industry, will manage the office.

In a company statement, KPI Bridge Oil said "The establishment of this office demonstrates KPI Bridge Oil’s strength, and continues the strategy of positioning offices in locales where its customers are conducting business. This step is a natural extension of the company´s successful operations in Singapore and allows continuous coverage for the Pacific Rim".

"The new office in Seattle will also permit KPI Bridge Oil to serve locally based clients in their own time zone with the same highly acclaimed service that KPI Bridge Oil customers are accustomed to in other areas".

Commenting on the launch of the new office, Jan Obel, CEO of the KPI Bridge Oil Group said: “KPI Bridge Oil is one of the leading and fastest growing bunker service companies in the world. With the mergers between Bridge Oil Ltd and KPI Oil Associates, Inc., and then again with Davies & Newman Wake in London, we have experienced significant growth over the past year.

"Our position as a trading and broking company allows us to better service our customers needs. We will continue to develop our organization so that we can deliver outstanding customer service based on strong local knowledge.

"We believe there is going to be a strong synergy between our Singapore office and the new office in Seattle. Tamara Anderson will be able to add significant value to the local shipping industry with her long-term experience in the bunker industry and the support from our five, well-positioned offices, which now include more than 40 brokers and traders”.
