Singapore 380 cSt average up 8.5% in April


Average 380 cSt price rose to its highest level in five months at the world's leading bunker port.



The average monthly price of 380 centistoke (cSt) intermediate fuel oil (IFO) in Singapore rose for the second consecutive month in April, according to Bunker Index price data.

The 380 cSt average at the world's leading bunker port increased by $15, or 8.5 percent, to $192 per tonne last month, up from $177 per tonne in March. It is the highest figure since November.

April saw Singapore's best-selling fuel grade record a $60 low-to-high differential, with a price range of $165 to $225 per tonne. The lowest price of $165 per tonne was seen on April 5, whilst the month's highest price of $225 per tonne was quoted on April 29.

The month ended with an assessment price of $224.00 per tonne, up $45.00, or 25.1 percent, on the $179.00 per tonne recorded on the last trading day of March.
