Dan-Bunkering hires Key Account Manager and Financial Business Partner

Bunker firm appoints ex-OW Bunker employee Morten Dehn and finance specialist Jane Bisgaard.

Dan-Bunkering has announced the appointment of Morten Dehn as its new Group Key Account Manager and Jane Bisgaard as Group Financial Business Partner.

Dehn was previously employed at OW Bunker between 2005 and 2014, where his roles included Head of Risk Management Sales and Regional Director for Northern Europe.

In a statement, Dan-Bunkering said: "Morten Dehn is 44 years old and is, among other things, in possession of extensive knowledge within fuel procurement, hedging and risk management from his previous positions in a bunker company and a well-reputed shipping company respectively."

In his company profile, Dehn says: "I started in the bunker industry doing risk management for 6 years, after which I became responsible for the bunker purchase and hedging for a large international shipping company. Working within the bunker industry provides an international and competitive environment that is very hard to find other places. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with the family and doing various sports."

Jane Bisgaard - who speaks Danish, English, and German - says in her company profile: "After spending the past 13 years abroad in different financial positions, I joined Dan-Bunkering in January 2016, and I enjoy working in a challenging and fast paced industry with fun and professional colleagues. My spare time is spent with family and friends. Additionally, I enjoy being active doing sports; running, mountain biking, and skiing."

Dan-Bunkering has expanded its business coverage with five new offices within the past year, which the company says has driven its "desire to strengthen its organization even further with experienced competences".

CEO Henrik Zederkof commented: "I am very pleased that Morten and Jane have joined our company as it is perfectly in line with our strategy to employ two new people with these particular backgrounds to safeguard the interests of our clients and enable Dan-Bunkering to be closer to our business partners. We have been growing rapidly the past year and in order for us to improve and develop our position in the market, we are aware of the importance of focusing on expanding our key account management, and I believe there is no better way of doing this than employing valuable specialists like Morten and Jane who I am sure will add value to our already existing team of dedicated and experienced employees."

"Strengthening the key account management area is an essential part of the company's strategy of continued growth," Dan-Bunkering added.
