Rotterdam 380 cSt weekly price summary


A summary of weekly Rotterdam 380 centistoke (cSt) prices.



The price of 380 centistoke (cSt) product at the port of Rotterdam fell for the fifth consecutive week between December 24 and December 31, according to Bunker Index price data.

In week 53, the Rotterdam 380 cSt bunker price declined by $1.50, or 1.1 percent, to $137.50 per tonne, compared with the previous end-of-week price of $139.00 per tonne.

During the week, price decreases of $1.00, $3.50 and $1.50 - seen on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday respectively - outweighed Wednesday's increase of $4.50, with Friday trading closed due to the New Year's Day holiday.

The week's lowest daily assessment price of $134.50 per tonne was recorded on Tuesday, December 29, and the lowest intra-day quote of $133.00 was seen on the same day. Significantly, these prices are also the lowest since Bunker Index began publishing Rotterdam indices in April 2008. An intra-day low of $133.00 was also recorded last week, on December 22.
