Global Risk Management appoints Controller


Andri Stefansson will be responsible for controlling and reporting risk measures for Global Risk's portfolio of commodity derivatives.



A/S Global Risk Management Ltd. has announced the employment of Andri Stefansson [pictured] as Controller at its office in Middelfart, Denmark.

In an emailed statement, the company said: "Andri, age 33, comes from a position as Risk Manager in a large Danish bank and has extensive experience within risk management, IT and derivatives trading. He holds an M.Sc. Finance and Strategic Management from Copenhagen Business School and Bachelor in Business Administration - Finance Stream from De Montfort University, United Kingdom.

"Andri will be responsible for the ongoing controlling and reporting of risk measures on Global Risk Management's portfolio of commodity derivatives."

Niels Hyldegaard Kristensen, CFO, remarked: "Andri is a great addition to our team and with several years of experience in developing systems for risk management, he will be a key player when it comes to ensuring that our setup for risk management continues to be of high quality and supporting our strategy of continued growth."
