New supply operation is headed up by managing director Leslie Willems.

Bomin Group has announced that it has launched a physical supply operation in Antwerp, Belgium.

The new operation, which is supplying marine fuel products under the trading name Bomin Belgium BVBA, is headed up by managing director Leslie Willems.

In an email announcement, Bomin confirmed today that the bunker barge Vantage is to be used to carry out deliveries of a "full range of quality products including IFO 380, ultra low sulphur fuel oil and DMA 0.1%".

The company added: "As part of our drive to ensure transparency, accuracy and efficiency of our bunker supplies, Vantage has been equipped with a mass flow meter. The vessel has a capacity of 3,500 mt, and fast pumping rates to drive speed of service, increase efficiencies in supply and ensure the fastest turnaround time possible. With this vessel we will be able to provide excellent flexibility and value in our services, ensuring that you have access to the highest quality bunker supply in Antwerp, Ghent, Zelzate, Flushing and Terneuzen.

"Antwerp is one of the world's major ports. The launch of Bomin Belgium BVBA is a continuation of Bomin Group's strategy to expand and enhance our global physical operations, ensuring that we can offer real value in the bunkering process that goes beyond just the price of the product.

"The Bomin Belgium BVBA team will work with you to develop the right fuel procurement strategy and product mix, simplifying the ordering process, delivering products as quickly as possible, and finally ensuring you receive the exact amount of fuel ordered.
