First sub-$300 380 cSt quotes in Rotterdam since May 2009


Suppliers quote 380 centistoke (cSt) product at below $300 per tonne for the first time in 67 months.



Bunker suppliers at the port of Rotterdam have been quoting 380 centistoke (cSt) product at below $300-per-tonne levels today (December 19), according to Bunker Index price data.

Local players were today offering price levels of $299.00 to $301.00 per tonne for Rotterdam's largest-selling high sulphur marine fuel grade as global bunker prices continue to tumble.

It is the first time since May 5, 2009, that levels below $300 per tonne have been quoted for 380 cSt product. On that day, 67 months ago, suppliers were offering levels of $296.50 to $302.00 per tonne.
