OW Bunker appoints manager for UK sourcing and reselling operations

Varun Chhabria joins the company from Wales-based fuel supplier.

OW Bunker, one of the world's leading physical suppliers and resellers of marine fuels and lubricants, has today advised that a new manager has been appointed for its sourcing and reselling operations in the United Kingdom.

Varun Chhabria [pictured], based in Windsor, has been charged with overseeing the day-to-day development of OW Bunker's existing sourcing and reselling operations across the UK, in a move to fuel further growth across the region.

Chhabria joins OW Bunker from Inver Energy (UK) Ltd, where had been employed as Commercial Sales Negotiator at the company's office in Cardiff since September 2012.

Prior to this, Chhabria worked as Export Sales Manager for Niva International, where he managed a team dealing with the sale and export of recyclable commodities to the Far East and Middle East markets and was in charge of managing risk, ocean freight and commodity pricing for a range of metal and non-metal products.
