Castrol invites users to 'climb aboard the virtual vessel'


Users are able to click on different pieces of equipment and view the Castrol products that are available for each application.

Global lubricants manufacturer, Castrol, has today provided a link on Twitter inviting users to "climb aboard the Castrol virtual vessel".

The new webpage, http://virtualvessel.castrol.com, includes a virtual general cargo vessel, tanker and ferry, where users are able to click on different pieces of equipment and machinery in order to view the Castrol products that are available for each application.

The website also includes a full list of products that can be sorted according to their application and product range (bio range, mineral range and synthetic range).

A section on the Castrol Academy - Castrol's global marine training programme - includes an overview of the course's training modules.

There is also a section dedicated to Castrol Caremax - Castrol's analytical lubricant solutions range - that is designed to provide vessels with a full range of online, onshore and onboard oil analysis solutions in order to minimize downtime, cut costs and help ships operate at optimum efficiency.
