Petrobras: No bunker enquiries during World Cup holidays


Bunker department in Rio de Janeiro will not be working enquiries during the upcoming World Cup public holidays.



Brazil, the host of the upcoming World Cup, will hold a number of municipal 'World Cup public holidays' during the tournament, which is due to take place between Thursday June 12 and Sunday July 13.

The holiday dates are as follows:

June 12 - Municipal Public Holiday, Sao Paulo.
June 18 - Municipal Public Holiday, Rio de Janeiro (afternoon).
June 25 - Municipal Public Holiday, Rio de Janeiro (afternoon).
July 4 - Municipal Public Holiday, Rio de Janeiro.

As a result, local marine fuel supplier Petroleo Brasileiro (Petrobras) S.A. has today confirmed that its bunker department in Rio de Janeiro will be closed on the following dates:

June 18 - After 12:00 hrs.
June 25 - After 12:00 hrs
July 4 - The whole day.

Additionally, the Rio de Janeiro office will be closed on June 19 due to the Corpus Christi national holiday.
