Singapore MGO vs ICE Gas Oil


Analysis of Singapore marine gas oil (MGO) and ICE Gas Oil prices.

The average price of marine gas oil (MGO) at the port of Singapore rose at a lower rate than the ICE Gas Oil average during the month of April, according to Bunker Index price data.

The ICE Gas Oil settlement average increased by $5.69 per tonne, or 0.63 percent, to $907.54 per tonne in April. During the same period, the Singapore MGO average was up by $2 per tonne, or 0.22 percent, to $906 per tonne.

Between April 2013 and April 2014, the monthly MGO average in Singapore rose by $49 per tonne, or 5.7 percent, from $857 to $906 per tonne, whilst the ICE Gas Oil settlement average increased by $42.82 per tonne, or 4.95 percent, from $864.72 to $907.54 per tonne.
